Remove AutoRun.inf from PenDrive

utorun.inf is the file which determines which program will execute automatically when you open or connect your pen drive. Majority of the virus programs use this file to spread themselves. So if not needed this file should be removed from the pen drive. But it is not an easy task to remove the virus affected autorun.inf from the pen drive.

So for novice users I will recommend to use Autorun eater. Autorun eater automatically detects the autorun.inf file and if it is actually infected by a virus then it can also tell you the files associated with it.

This can be really helpful because most of the time people don’t know what to delete after deleting the autorun.inf.

To add some more value to this software the developer has added some more tools  to fix common windows problems like disabled task manager , registry editor  or hidden folder settings.

The Sims 3 Patch 1.4.6

This patch will update The Sims 3 game to version 1.4.6. Many of you can download the v1.4.6 Patch by grabbing it thru the Launcher, but in case you are having issues, you can download it here.

Before Installing:

Some users have reported issues with installing the patch when their mods are still in. To do this, go to your Program Files – Electronic Arts – The Sims 3 folder. Note that is in PROGRAM FILES not in My Documents. Select the Mods folder there. Right-click and choose Cut. Go to your computers Desktop. Right-click and choose Paste. It may take a few moments as the files cut and paste from one location to the other.

Note:

You need international v1.3.24 patch already installed to install this update. If you have the clean Razor1911 game installed that is v1.0.631 then you need to install the other patches first or only this one: Sims3_1.4.6.00002_from_1.0.631.00002.exe

Installation Notes:

1. Copy files from inside old-original folder to your install directory at The Sims 3GameBin and overwrite.
2. Start Sims3_1.4.6.00002_from_1.3.24.00002.exe from `update` folder and install.
3. Copy files from crack folder to your install directory at The Sims 3GameBin and overwrite.

Make sure your firewall(s) are down for a little while when you are attempting to do this.......!!
